Major television networks in the U.S. as ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC and Viacom have announced that they will not offer their content for now through the Google service. The rejection of the major television networks to Google TV is due to concerns about advertising revenues. The Google project would to provide access to TV content and channels offered on their websites and this could be a leak of advertising revenues.

Most services are only available in USA. Google is in talks with major television networks to provide local content for each country. In Europe, Google TV will arrive in 2011.
