Galaxy S, killer screen and performance

Samsung Galaxy S is one of the most technically advanced smartphone to date.

The first think to call our attention is its wide SuperAMOLED 4 inch screen with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. The sensitivity of the touch screen of the Galaxy S is excellent, easy to interact with it because of its greater size. Remember that Samsung has decided not to produce these displays for others companies in order to meet the demands of their own phones.

Its rectangular simple and elegant design lines are emphasized by having a thickness of only 9.9 mm. and weighing 118 grams.

We have three buttons below the screen, two of them tactile. In the front we also find the VGA camera for video calls, and proximity and ambient light sensors. It has a microUSB port, and beside it a 3.5mm connector that you can use as TV out and the volume buttons.

Galaxy S has 512MB of RAM and 8GB or 16GB of internal storage. Reads microSD card slot up to 32GB.

This HSPA terminal (7.2/5.76Mbps) offers connectivity through WiFi n and Bluetooth 3.0. Tethering functionality included allows you to create a WiFi hotspot with our 3G connection.
The camera has a 5 megapixel sensor and is capable of recording video in high definition (720p) at 30 frames per second. The detail and fluidity are good, even better outdoor.
The media player is very complete. The phone has enough power to play HD content in formats like DivX / Xvid, with the possibility of placing subtitles. We can listen to FM radio with RDS from the phone’s speakers or headphones.
